There’s something about a group of women—plus Howard—coming together to sit in circle as one. We are forming community and values to stand on. We are establishing equity: creating the kind of unity where everyone has the resources to not merely survive, but thrive. We are building safety—for those who have never had a safe space, or maybe just need one for that moment in time. We practice something called holding space.
We don’t judge, we welcome.
We aren’t closed, we’re open.
We aren’t nothing, we are something.
In the evolution of our lives, we have been given the privilege to transform, evolve, move forward. We can press restart at anytime. We’re courageous enough to say yes in the darkest of places. We have the choice of how we move in these spaces.
