Julie Kusmierczyk

Master’s Level Counseling Intern

Julie is currently completing her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Drama Therapy through Lesley University and the North American Drama Therapy Association, where upon graduating, she will pursue licensure as a Marriage & Family Therapist.  Inspired by working with performing arts students  in a supportive school community, and proudly a life-long learner, Julie was called to pursue a deeper integration of  theatre, performance, creative arts and mental health to better serve those in need.

Returning to ReEvolution after a successful first internship as a Creative Arts Therapist- in- training, Julie is now serving as both Case Manager and Counseling  Intern. In counseling, she provides a safe space to explore emotion, process experiences, and set goals that integrate both forward life progress and deepening self-awareness. Sessions mirror traditional talk therapy, with arts-based and somatic processing as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy tools. Using arts as a medium for self-expression, community members can expect a novel approach to self understanding.
