After 30 years of incarceration, Diondre is thankful for every day of being home and declares it “the best feeling in the world.” He embraces the honor of mentoring youth as he gives back what he didn’t have himself and believes in living in the moment and loving every moment he lives.

In his spare time, Diondre joins his co-mentor and road dog, Lamont, for their long drives to where the road may take them. Lamont and Diondre reunited at the Beacon House in December of 2023 after knowing each other years ago. Both express gratitude for that meeting and their shared love of giving back and the power of road trips.
