After 30 years of incarceration, Diondre is grateful for every day he has been home and describes it as “the best feeling in the world.” He has embraced the opportunity to mentor youth, giving back what he did not have growing up, and is committed to living fully in the present and appreciating each moment.

In his spare time, Diondre enjoys long drives with his co-mentor and close friend, Lamont, letting the road guide their journey. Diondre and Lamont reconnected at Beacon House in December 2023 after knowing each other years earlier. They both value the opportunity to work together again and share a mutual passion for mentoring, community service, and the freedom found in time spent on the road.
